Compass Certified Auditors and Business Consultants
Compass Certified Auditors and Business Consultants, is a company with executives of many years of experience and based in Maroussi, Attica.
The primary purpose of Compass is the provision of an upgraded level of services, adapted to the needs of each business entity and the particular requirements of each project, always in accordance with the Legislative Framework, the Code of Ethics of Certified Public Accountants, of Corporate Governance, of International Auditing Standards, as well as accounting and tax legislation.
Konstantinos Koutroulos
Partner, CPA, Founder
He is a Managing Partner and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), of Compass Certified Public Accountants and Business Consultants.
He has over 20 years of experience auditing financial statements in the commercial and energy industry sectors.
He has been in charge of special financial controls in capital increases, acquisitions and mergers on behalf of large groups, conversions of financial statements according to IFRS/NEW ELP, special tax audits etc.
He has experience as head of audit in Greek and foreign companies listed on the Stock Exchange and non-mutual funds and companies operating in the industrial and shipping sectors. He has served as a as Supervising Trustee (Monitoring Trustee) on behalf of the Competition Commission.
Athanasios Roilos
Partner, CPA
Athanasios Roilos is a honor graduate of the Economics Department of the Law School of the University of Athens and Certified Auditor Accountant since 1993. He has previous experience in large audit companies, such as Baker Tilly Hellas and BDO Greece, of which he was a founding member and shareholder. He has extensive experience and expertise in industrial and commercial sectors and services, such as food-drinks, textiles, consumer products, health, pharmaceuticals, tourism, agriculture and plastic cables. He has also provided his financial services to various public bodies, such as Public entities and Private Law Legal Entities, public organizations and hospitals.
Among other things, he is an Expert in Audits: a. Annual Corporate and Consolidated Financial Statements b. Issuance of Tax Compliance Certificates c. Listing of Companies on the Athens Stock Exchange d. Valuations of Companies for Acquisitions-Mergers and Goodwill Impairment e. Special Audit Purpose, f. Internal Audit Control Methods and Procedures g. Guiding Corporate Management Teams for Operational Risk Management.
As a consultant, he has cooperated for a long time with multinational companies and he has been an expert in matters of strategic planning, working capital management and credit policy formulation, writing market analysis studies and investment viability, operational and financial restructuring, utilization of fixed assets, branch spin-offs, commercial, operational and financial due diligence. He has collaborated with investment schemes (Fund) and he has experience in the reorganization of companies and in the preparation of their acquisitions, as well as in the mediation of negotiations. In addition, he is a consultant to law firms on specialized client issues related to his specialty.
Pavlos Stafylas
Director, CPA
Pavlos Stafylas is the director of COMPASS AUDITORS and leads experienced audit teams in a multitude of tasks.
He started his career in the field of auditing in 2000. He consistently and professionally followed the promotion ladders of the auditing companies that he worked with and continues to continuously evolve as required by the dynamic field of auditing science.
He has expertise in regular and extraordinary audits of listed – and non-listed – groups of companies, as well as in special accounting and tax matters (IFRS, BEPS, Transfer Pricing, etc.)
He has managed valuations of acquisitions, financings of many companies in the field of clothing, food, medicine, health, tourism, etc. sectors.
He has also been a consultant to a public company in the energy sector during the privatization stage.
He has taken over as the head of transformations (spin-offs/mergers) of large companies in the energy and transport sector.
He has been an evaluator of investment plans of the Recovery fund (RRF).
He has been a member of the Group of Certified Public Accountants for the annual audit of the Asset Statements submitted to the Audit Committee of the Hellenic Parliament.
He holds a degree in maritime studies from the University of Piraeus. He also holds an IFRS diploma (DipIFR) from the ACCA organization.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Board of Certified Public Accountants of Greece.
